Internships

Fundacion AFOS provides deeply meaningful work and cultural immersion for international students in Argentina. Our programs are extremely affordable and provide participants with an unforgettable personal and professional experience. We have extensive experience working with students and university advisors and can provide help in preparing an internship plan to ensure credits are obtained.

Fundacion AFOS's mission is to provide management and structural assistance to support small and mid-sized non-profits located in the area of Córdoba, Argentina. In addition to lacking operational expertise, these local NGOs are also generally in desperate need of capable and committed interns to work directly in their programs.

To help Argentina's local NGO's fill this gap Fundacion AFOS recruits international interns and matches them to a program that interests them and where their knowledge and skills can provide the maximum positive impact. Our NGO's need interns with background in a wide variety of fields such as social sciences, social work, psychology, sociology, development, economics, management, marketing, political science, international relations, humanities, arts, tourism, communication, and more. Projects are diverse, ranging anywhere from helping children in poor settings to assisting in strategic planning and marketing

Our programs are offered year-round and for any length of time (with a one month minimum). The only requirements are a minimum age of 18 and a reasonable knowledge of Spanish to be able to interact with local people (although we can also arrange intensive language courses for those who need them). Program participants put their knowledge to work while fulfilling scholastic or internship requirements. At the same time they improve their Spanish and have the opportunity to be deeply immersed in the incredible culture of Argentina's people.
